Scheduled Seasonal Maintenance

Winter (Dec–Feb)

  • Seal drafts and gaps

  • Insulate exposed pipes

  • Install faucet covers

  • Prepare for power outages (on request)

  • Test sump pump

  • Clear storm drains

  • Inspect attic and crawlspace for moisture or rodents

Wooden House

Summer (Jun–Aug)

  • Paint touch-ups on siding, trim, and fences

  • Seal decks and exterior wood surfaces

  • Service garage doors and openers

  • Install or test smoke/CO detectors

  • Seal pest entry points

  • Clean exhaust fans (kitchen, bath)

  • Trim back shrubs from siding

Home Deck and Kitchen

Spring (Mar-May)

  • Clean gutters and downspouts

  • Pressure wash siding, decks, and walkways

  • Check screens and reseal caulking

  • Inspect roof after winter storms

  • Test outdoor faucets and irrigation

  • Replace HVAC filters

  • Lubricate door hinges and garage mechanisms

  • Treat moss on roof and hardscapes

  • Clear leaves from gutters 

  • Inspect and replace weather stripping

  • Shut off and winterize outdoor faucets

  • Drain and store hoses

  • Inspect roof and flashing before storms

  • Replace HVAC filters and test furnace
